Definition: Situated at the intersection of a theoretical structure (management) and a sector (the arts) arts management relies on utilizing management theory and practice in the unique and innovative settings inherent to arts and culture.
Arts administration educators prepare individuals to take on the task of leading and managing the business side of arts initiatives.
